Q1.
Why should I hire a firm like Hemetrix when I could use
my in-house staff? |
| |
|
A.
Good question. Most organizations today want to focus
on their core competencies and not divert valuable
resources into areas that are used infrequently
throughout the year. Hemetrix is a cost effective
alternative and highly experienced outsource that can
help you attain your objectives without investing in a
costly infrastructure. |
| |
|
Q2. I
am sure we can select our own city venues, conference
centers, hotel accommodations and travel
arrangements....why would I need Hemetrix support in
those areas? |
| |
|
A.
Indeed you can do all of the above as long as you have
the knowledgeable resources, time, contacts and
understanding of event dynamics. However, what a good
event planning group can also do is to leverage its
resources to reduce service support costs and help make
the near-impossible possible. Hemetrix networking,
multiple supplier contacts and repetitive contracting
facilitates a more successful event and provides a
greater return on investment. |
| |
|
Q3.
We have some in-house event resources but are lacking in
others. Can Hemetrix just fill in the gaps for us? |
| |
|
A.
Absolutely. We are in the business of providing
flexible outsourcing alternatives to meet the needs of
its client base. Whether it be some last minute
staffing needs all the way up to some serious
troubleshooting, we can be at your side as needed. Take
a look at our "Services" page on this website to get a
better idea of our ala-carte service offerings. |
| |
|
Q4.
We are only interested in developing company staff
training or sales meetings. Does Hemetrix have
experience in these areas? |
| |
|
A.
Yes we do. We can work closely with your HR, Sales and
other corporate management staff to effect such
successful functions. |
| |
|
Q5.
Our business is desirous of entering the fast growing
China market and feel that an offshore event would
possibly be the best way to start. Do you agree and can
you help? |
| |
|
A.
There are many ways to get started doing business in
China. However there are is no "one size fits all"
approach because China is a vast and differing
marketplace. Events may indeed be the answer, but again
striking up a strategic alliance may be a better route
for others. Hemetrix, with its cultural ties and on the
ground experience, can help be a facilitator for your
entry into the China market through its strategic
consultations. |

|
Q6.
We have a small professional organization that executes
a limited size event. Would Hemetrix have any interest
in working with us? |
| |
|
A.
No question about it, no project is too small for us.
Hemetrix finds that many times small client projects end
up building a long lasting relationship and that is
something we aspire to. Having said that we are
cognizant that in spite of the best efforts by all
parties some events can't seem to get traction. It is
for this reason that Hemetrix is very diligent in
apprising clients of the warning signs of a risky
function. We consider our relationship to be a team
effort and as such we like to be candid with our
partners. |
| |
|
Q7.
Are weekend and evening events a good way to get
started? |
| |
|
A.
We love to get folks started this way because it can at
times be more cost effective and successful. Off peak
events can attract attendees who otherwise could not
afford to take time off from work to participate. If
planned properly hotels and service providers are glad
to have the extra business and usually are willing to
discount their charges. |
| |
|
Q8. We
have not run an event before and are concerned about the
risk/reward ratio, what can you tell us? |
| |
|
A. That
is a very complex question because as we all know
business ventures can succeed beyond our expectations or
they can crash and burn, their are no guarantees. A good
event can yield profit margins as high as 60% but others
can have marginal or no returns. It all depends upon
your promotional efforts, your "unique selling
proposition" and the product you are selling or the paid
audience you are attracting. While Hemetrix will be your
cost conscious service provider it can in no way
guarantee the financial outcome of your event. |
| |
|
Q9. If
we were to start off retaining Hemetrix on a consulting
basis, what would it cost us? |
| |
|
A.
First of all we always offer our prospective clients a
free one hour consultation to explore their needs and
for them to become more familiar with Hemetrix. From
that point on our professional fees are $150 per hour
plus any directly related expenses. Of course custom
projects, full events, evaluations and analysis are
quoted at a contract rate. |
| |
|
Q10. Are
retainers required by Hemetrix? |
| |
|
A. No,
unless a client has a specific need for a fixed period
of ongoing monthly consultation. |
| |
|
Q11. How
do I best contact Hemetrix to discuss my needs and your
availability. |
| |
|
A.
Actually we prefer e-mail as our first line of
communication due to our travel and other client
commitments. Naturally we do offer phone, cell phone and
fax alternatives as well, please check our "Contact Us"
page on this website. |
